As a member of eumom you are part of a community which is rewarded occasionally with relevant coupons, offers and information sent by, post, email or SMS. These rewards are offered by our carefully selected partners and agencies and will come from us at eumom. We will never share your data with any selected partners or other third parties.

We respect your right to privacy, and our Privacy Policy is designed to reinforce our commitment to keeping all information gathered about our members safe and secure.

Information We Collect

  • Comments you post on our forums or blogs
  • Information provided to us by email or private message or in response to research surveys and competition entries

Technical details in connection with visits to this website are logged for our statistical purposes. The technical details logged include:

  • The IP address of each visitor and the domain of the internet service provider
  • The previous website address from which a visitor reached us, including any search terms used
  • “Clickstream” data which shows the traffic of visitors around
  • The type of web browser used by a visitor

We also use an outside provider for web-site statistics. Providers use visitors’ IP addresses but do not have access to users’ usernames or email addresses. Amending your details & access to personal data

Once registered with eumom, you can access and amend all of your personal details at any time by logging in to the “My Profile” area of the website. In doing so you ensure that the information held by eumom is accurate, complete and up to date at all times.

Under section 4 of the Data Protection Acts 1988 & 2003, you have a right to be given a copy of your personal data. You may do so by sending us a request in writing (posted to Eumedia Ltd (t/a Eumom), 3 Bath Place, Blackrock, Co. Dublin A94 R3K7. eumom will reply to you within 40 calendar days.

Membership cancellation

Once you register on the website, your information shall be retained by eumom for the duration of an individual’s membership. Membership is for an indefinite period but may be terminated at any time by visiting the My Profile page, at the bottom of the page click on the ‘Delete My Account’ and click submit. Only authorized employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. All emails and newsletters from this site allow you to opt out of further mailings.

Use of Forums

Forums and bulletin boards are open to the general public but you are no longer able to add to the live forum, or comment, as this functionality has been removed. If you have previously engaged with the forum, you should be aware that personal information that you disclosed by way of message boards or chat rooms can be collected and used by third parties who are unknown to you or to Eumedia Ltd (t/a eumom). 


By registering to use eumom’s website you agree to receive email communications from eumom which includes newsletters, and from time to time some relevant special offers, discounts or coupons on behalf of our partners. When you register with eumom you can choose to receive your personal pregnancy email (or baby development email) on a weekly basis for the duration of your membership.

You can choose to stop these email subscriptions at any time, by clicking the 'Unsubscribe' button at the bottom of every email communication from us and thus opting out of our email database. You may also do so by updating your status in the “My Profile” area of the website and opting out of email subscription.
