How your Breasts Change During Pregnancy

It is perfectly normal for you to feel breast changes in pregnancy. It is also normal to feel discomfort in the breast area during pregnancy due to hormone changes as your body prepares for breast-feeding.

Effects can include heaviness, soreness, tingling, tenderness and increased sensitivity. Investing in a well-fitting support bra from the start may help to reduce sagging and discomfort in the breast area, and some women find it useful if they wear a bra at night, as well.

Leakage from your nipples is also common in later pregnancy, in which case you may want to insert absorbent breast pads into your bra. Furthermore, if you suffer from sore nipples you may find it helps if you gently apply soothing creams or oils to the nipples.

If however, you notice any bloodstained discharge from your nipples, be sure to contact your healthcare professional.

So how quickly did you notice changes? And what did you find most effective for soothing any unwanted side effects? We'd love to hear.

After I gave birth to my second child I hated how my breasts looked. I was so depressed. One of my closest friends recommended me Boobpop and my boobs actually came back to their natural shape.
