9 Fun Ways to Announce Your Pregnancy

PREGNANCY: Announcing that you are pregnant is one of the most exciting times of pregnancy – and one that you may have spent weeks counting down to.

Whether you are telling your partner or telling friends and family, announcing your pregnancy is a special time and something you will always remember. Why not get creative with these cute pregnancy announcement ideas.

Telling your Partner

1. Best Dad

Buy your partner a mug with “Daddy” on it and give him a cup of tea in it. Watch and wait for his reaction!

2. Wrap it up

Wrap up your positive pregnancy test in a nice box with some pink and blue ribbon and give it to your partner over dinner.

3. Invite him to the birth

Get an invitation card and ‘invite’ your partner to attend the birth of your child on your due date at your nearest maternity hospital.

Telling your Family

4. Picture perfect

Give the grandparents-to-be a baby-themed picture frame with a ‘coming soon’ message inside. You could also include your approximate due date.

5. Bun in the oven

This hilarious video shows a dad-to-be sending his mom on a scavenger hunt to share the couple’s good news.

6. Baby boots

Wrap up some tiny baby shoes and present them to grandparents-to-be, or your siblings, to share your good news.

Sharing the news online
