10 Fabulous Baby Boy Names Beginning With The Letter F

1. Finn

The name Finn is Irish in origin and means “Fair”. IT would have been best known as a surname from “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” but is now quite a popular first name for little boys.

 

2. Freddie

I must say I think Freddie is an adorable choice for any little boy. Even the longer version, Frederick is super cute. It is a German name meaning “Peace”.

3. Fionn

Very similar origin and meaning to Finn but with a more Gaelic sound to it. This name has become quite popular in the last few years among the Irish population and it’s nice to see that Irish names are being kept alive and well.

4. Felix

Leaving the cat connection aside, Felix is quite a trendy, cool name for your little guy. Although it sounds slightly German, it is actually a Roman name meaning “Successful”.

5. Fergal

How cute would this be shortened to Fergie? It is an Irish name meaning “Brave”.

6. Finbar

A popular name in Ireland, Finbar means “Fair-headed one”

7. Fletcher

A very cute surname when it’s used as a first name and not very common here which is nice. It means “Arrow-maker” and comes from England.

8. Frankie

Could be a short version of Francis or Franklin but cute as a name in its own right. It is a French name meaning “Free one”.

9. Floyd

A Welsh name meaning “Grey-haired” and a perfect option for any Pink Floyd fans.

10. Fisher

Not a very common first name I know, but why not break the mould a little. You can be guaranteed there won’t be more than one in his class at school.
