(Latynina) Larisa took part in 3 Olympic Games between 1956 and 1964 where she won a whopping 14 individual medals and 4 team medals for Gymnastics.

8. Elisabeta

(Lipa) Elisabeta Lipa is the most decorated rower in the history of the Olympic Games with a total of 8 medals to her name. She competed in a total of 5 Olympic Games between 1964 and 2004.

9. Natalie

(Coughlan) Natalie is a competitive swimmer with an impressive 12 medals under her belt. She first competed at Olympic level in Athens in 2004 at the age of 22 where she won 5 medals.

10. Mary

(Peters) One of the least decorated on our list, Mary Peters won a gold medal in the Pentathlon event in 1972. Since this, she has received many honours including an MBE for her services to athletes.
