Lots of things change when you become a mom.

Being a mom certainly has some unexpected benefits but, there are a sometimes a few things we wish we could keep from our pre-baby lives! Check out our hilarious list of words that take on a totally different meaning when you become a mom.

1. Spooning

Before...cute intimate time with your partner.

After...saying "here comes the airplane!" over and over again.

2. Nap time

Before...having a quick power nap when ever you feel like it.

After...you put your kids down for naps all the time, but take one yourself? Yeah right!

3. All-nighter

Before...staying up all night long, just because you can.

After...staying up all night, because your child won't go to sleep!

4. Eating out

Before...cute romantic time with your other half.

After...chaos. Just chaos.

5. Me time

Before...doing your nails, taking long baths, getting a massage...

After...literally getting two minutes to go to the toilet by yourself is often a challenge.

6. Partying

Before...catching up with friends for wild nights out.

After...catching up with friends for wild afternoons in with a bunch of screaming kiddies.

7. Saturday mornings

Before...sleeping in, breakfast in bed, morning cuddles.

After... definitely not sleeping in. You might still get the morning cuddles though!

8. Love

Before...when your heart swells.

After...when your heart swells so much you think it might actually burst. You can't even begin to imagine life before your little one came along.
