9 Things We REALLY Want For Mother's Day
Sure the homemade cards are cute. And the attempts at breakfast in bed are heartfelt. But this is what we really want for Mother’s Day. The sorry-if-it-hurts-your-feelings version.
So share it with your partner \ children \ friends \ postman, print it out and stick it on the fridge, do whatever it takes to get the message across, because here’s what we REALLY want for Mother’s Day.
And please – NO PRESENTS AT 5AM – no matter what it is!
1. A lie-in
See above. We really, really, really want this one.
2. No whinging
Too much to ask? Well at least follow the rule if you are a grown up.

Because we love them (just not at 5am).
4. Kisses and cuddles
Because we love you (even at 5am).

5. Breakfast, lunch and dinner
One day off all kitchen duties, and that includes the clearing up.
6. Me time
Not the whole day. Possibly not even on the day. But a voucher for a facial, hairdresser, coffee or all of the above would be most welcome.
We keep meaning to print them out, honestly. And yes we know we’ve been saying that since the kids were born… But we’re just SO busy. So whether it’s a pack of personalised magnets, some hipster poloroids, a canvas print, or just an old fashioned pack of photos – this is one gift we really would appreciate.

Not the really expensive kind. Or the garage kind (sorry, but it needs to be said). Just a vase of lovely spring blooms will do very nicely, thank you very much.
