Mince Beef Lasagne

FAMILY FAVE RECIPE: 

Delicious cooked tomatoes are full of goodness, even the tinned ones.

Ingredients

  • 400 g Mince Beef
  • 300 mls White Sauce
  • 250 g Lasagna Sheets (one pack)
  • 2 Onion (diced)
  • 50 g Cheese
  • 1 Can Chopped Tomatoes
  • 2 tblsp Tomato puree
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • 2 tsp Italian Herbs (crushed)
  • 2 Pinches Cracked Pepper

Method

  1. Preheat Oven, Oven Temperature: 325ºF – 160ºC – Gas Mark 3 – Moderate
  2. Dry fry beef with diced onions.
  3. Add mixed herbs and garlic.
  4. Cook for a further 2 minutes.
  5. Add chopped and pureed tomatoes. Cook for 3 minutes. Taste, then add sugar and seasoning as required.
  6. In a casserole dish place layer of sauce and lasagna sheets.
  7. Repeat.
  8. Top with white sauce and cheese.
  9. Bake at 160c for 40 minutes.
  10. Serve with a crisp salad.
