The Best Top 3 Family Cars For Growing Families
So, baby number three is on the way and you need a new family car, but the market has far too many options to choose from and you don’t know which one to go for.
What do you do?
The moms in our community took to our Facebook page to share their stories about the perfect car model for their growing family, PLUS we took a sneak peak at the new ŠKODA Kodiaq, which will be available in Ireland in Spring 2017!
SNEAK PEAK: ŠKODA Kodiaq
We got the chance to test-drive ŠKODA's brand new 7 seater, the Kodiaq, last month and we are very impressed! With the sporty good-looks of an SUV and a host of ŠKODA's Simply Clever features (such as a removeable LED torch in the boot & sun blinds for the side windows), it's easy to see why the ŠKODA Kodiaq will be the family car to watch in 2017!
Here's your current top 3 family cars for growing families:
1. Citroen C4
"The Citroen can take my five-year-old, three-year old and my 20-months-old, all in the middle row!"
2. Ford S-Max
"The Ford S-Max has three full seats in the back, leaving you room to drop
the back two seats for a bigger boot."
3. Peugeot 5008
“I fitted 24 chairs in my car after a holy communion in my Peugeot 5008”
Most of the MPVs have three ISOFIX child seat points, which allow you to connect a child car seat safely in the car’s built-in structure. This is definitely a very important point to take into consideration when looking for a vehicle, as most of the cars available in the market might have only two ISOFIX points. And don’t let their size put you off. Even though these cars models might look quite big at first, they don’t have the look of a traditional large family wagon. And if at some stage you need some extra space, you can always let down all the seats at the back. And don’t forget you also get all the extra boot space to fit all the groceries, bikes, and a single and/or double buggy, or extra luggage for those fun family breaks.

And the additional seats will come in very handy for after school playdates when you definitely might need the extra space. But be aware that not all MPVs can fit three car seats in the rear bench. So make sure to check the car’s features before make your final decision.
