Cute Kids Clothes To Celebrate Special Occasions

Are you looking forward to a range of weddings, parties, and other special occasions this year? Admittedly, children usually feel much less pressure to look their best than us adults do, but somehow seeing them in that bow-tie or sparkly dress is just too irresistible to resist!

So using a certain Royal Wedding as a thinly veiled excuse for cute outfits, look no further for some stylish options for kids to wear, whatever the occasion:

From left: Next 3-Piece-Set (0mths-2yrs) €22.50 - €24, H&M T-Shirt and Shorts (4mths-4yrs) €9.99, River Island Suit Set (6mths-5yrs) €60.

Kids occasionwear ranges hugely in price, from €10 in favourites like H&M to over €100 for higher end clothing, dependent on the brand, and the fabrics; so it's worth shopping around if you can.

From left: Mothercare Little Bird Blouse & Shorts Set (0-12mths) €22.99, H&M Cotton Bodysuit & Dungarees (0mths-9mths) €14.99, Jojo Mama Bébé Sailboat Smocked Dress With Knickers (0mths-6yrs) €31.

But it's great to see so many options, with a huge range of shops offering kids clothes from newborn upwards; with everything from basic bodysuits to adult style three-piece suits and taffeta dresses. It's worth remembering though, that although a lot of fancy baby shoes are equally cute, they're not particularly good for growing feet; particularly for babies who are not walking around yet. So if you do want shoes to complete the outfit, look out for softer-flexible options, and limit the amount of time they're worn.

From Left: Next Blue Frill-Sleeve Dress (3mths-6yrs) €15-€16.50, H&M Jersey Dress With Bodysuit (0mths-9mths) €8.99, Monsoon Elowen Dress (3mths-3yrs) €45.
