Caramelised Banana Sundaes Recipe
What is better than an ice cream topped with all your favourites?! Caramelising the bananas gives it a special touch nobody will be able to say no to.
Serves: 2 (it can easily be doubled)
Prep Time: 3 Minutes
Cook Time: 7 Minutes
- 30g butter
- 2 firm bananas, thickly sliced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 2 scoops of good quality vanilla ice cream
1. Melt the butter in a pan over a medium-low heat. Add the bananas and sprinkle over the brown sugar. Cook for five minutes until golden and syrupy.
2. Sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired. Spoon the caramelised bananas over vanilla ice cream to serve.
