To create the best possible experience, hundreds of kids and their parents have been involved in the development of the Sky Kids app. The result is an app that kids will love, supported by safety features that parents need. At launch, the Sky Kids app allows multiple age-appropriate profiles to be personalised using one of the playful Sky Buddy avatars. Future features available later this year include a sleep mode setting that gives parents the ability to limit viewing time.

Why do we love Sky Kids App?

1. Designed for Kids

The interface looks really colourful and fun, but most importantly it’s really easy to use, with options to scroll, swipe and tap.

2. Easy to Use

Once mom or dad have set up the profile, the app itself is super easy to use. Kids can browse their favourite characters and channels all by themselves.

3. Individual Profiles

Tailored specifically to the child’s age, the profile will show programmes that are suitable to each individual child, meaning they will always be able to find shows they will enjoy.

4. A Safe Space

There is no fear of your child accidentally clicking on a programme that isn’t suitable, as the Sky Kids App only contains children’s content.

5. Bedtime Wind Down

You can tell the app what time your child goes to bed, so that 10 minutes before bedtime, the app will start giving your child a little bedtime warning, with their little sky buddy starting to yawn. Meaning no more arguments at bedtime!
