eumom Back to Work Experts – Mumager
Hi, we are Alex, Tracy and Carma and together we’ve formed Mumager to help advise and support moms returning to work.
In our line of work we meet and talk with a lot of women who are working moms. Recognising the pressures that many of us are juggling, Mumager was born from the three of us wanting to do something practical to help moms manage that transition back to work. Our aim is to share practical advice and tools that manage that transition, so that everyone – parents, children and bosses – all benefit.
Alex: A career in corporate HR & training has helped me understand how to manage difficult people and difficult situations. Although I’m not a mom, I’ve been an agony aunt for many distressed and unhappy employees! I have a common sense, practical approach to things and a passion for seeing people achieve their potential. I know that unbiased common sense HR advice can be hard to come by, so it’s important to me to share my knowledge and support mums returning to work.
Tracy: As a self-employed working mom I’m well-versed in juggling conference calls, travel and deadlines with all that goes with having two gorgeous little boys. I help people to be their best at work, rest and play by running focused and interactive workshops on a range of personal development topics. I’m proud to say I can still run in my high heels, though you’ll now find a pair of flats tucked in my bag for the quick changeovers and mad sprints to catch a flight. My aim is to equip working moms with a range of tools that they can apply to their work and home lives to make the return to work easier for everyone.
Carma: My aim is to help you keep your balance. As a life and career coach, I am passionate about supporting and enabling others to reach their goals, and I have the enthusiasm and energy to match. Taking time out in this fast-paced world of ours is definitely a challenge, especially for all the moms out there juggling so much. My work supporting moms returning to the work force has shown me that a positive attitude, along with clarity surrounding strengths and options, can enable you to successfully manage your return to work while continuing to be an excellent parent.
