Your baby is displaying more and more independence, but still needs to know that mom is there when she needs her. Encourage her independence and let her know you’ll be right there watching over her while she toddles off exploring.
Your baby’s brain development
Having a new baby in the house is a very exciting time – particularly watching your baby reach her milestones. Your baby’s brain development is responsible for all those thrilling ‘firsts’, such as the first step, first word and first smile. If your child is a little slower at reaching her milestones, try not to fret excessively. All babies develop at their own rates.
