Baby’s Development – Week 37
You might spend all your time caring for, and thinking about your baby; but make sure you get enough sleep, and take time to look after yourself too. There's no point running yourself into the ground, as this will hurt both you and your little one; so accept help wherever you can, and ignore all but the basic housework!
Around now, your baby might be starting to develop stranger anxiety; crying and fussing when you’re chatting to a stranger, or if someone they don’t know enters the room. Little chubby handed waves also become more regular at this stage when saying goodbye.
While there’s always going to be the odd near-miss and frights when you’re looking after a curious little baby, following a few basic safety tips will ease your worries and ensure the safety of your baby, while he trundles around the house in search of new adventures.
Savings and investments
Balancing work, childcare and all the expenses connected with the birth of a new baby, means now, more than ever, you’ll probably need to take a closer look at your finances. If you’re considering a career break, cutting down on your working hours, paying for childcare or investing in your baby’s future, it’s time to start planning your finances.
