Baby's Development - Week 23
Your baby has been steadily gaining control of his upper body movement in recent weeks. Now it’s time to start mastering the lower body! Encourage him by holding him in a standing position and bounce him gently on your lap.
Taking care of baby’s gums and teeth
Taking care of your baby’s teeth can start before his first tooth is even up. Try rubbing his gums with a damp muslin cloth morning and evening – this also helps cut your baby’s teeth. As soon as the first tooth emerges, it’s time to start brushing! Brushing your babies teeth twice a day from a very early age will prevent decay, while getting your baby used to good oral hygiene from the word go.
Losing baby weight
The fear of not losing baby weight can be quite stressful for many new moms, who are adjusting not only to their new baby, their new role as a mom and their new life, but also their new body. It is possible to get your body back in shape – commit to a healthy diet and some consistent exercise, and you’ll be back in those skinnies before you know it…
