This week, your baby is discovering taste and texture by putting objects in her mouth. She’s also investigating the sound her toys make when she shakes or drops them. Encourage her to experiment: A rattle, or even banging plastic containers together; will make her eyes light up with delight.

There are a few things to consider when choosing a high chair – your baby will be using it for quite some time. Firstly, it needs to be comfortable – mealtimes can take up a surprising amount of time. The chair should also fit into your kitchen/dining room comfortably. The neater the better: If you can get a high chair that folds away, you'll love it all the more!
