Enjoy your meetups girls.
GLAD I will give you a text, going to straighten up the house a little and will head off around 10am so should be out to you before 11am.
work night last night was good but I have a slight head cold and developed a splitting headache. So as we were leaving the restaurant and heading to a pub I decided to head home. My car was near the restaurant and the pub was a little hike away!! Home in bed by 11.30pm.

Another update on dad, his operation was cancelled as he has oedema of the brain, swelling I suppose that means???? Anyway my sister text me, wasn't talking with her but he is deteriorating rapidly. I am ok about it as the poor man has no quality of life and is in pain so a happy day for him to slip away really. Talk later...x

Hi Ladies
I just spotted this forum - I was only of the original August 08 Birth Clubs!! And I am now on the June 10 Birth Club! About 14 weeks pregnant - doing fine -- there will be no hangovers / Xmas parties for me!
Who mentioned Climbing???
OMG I am so going to need Eyes in the back of my head. Darragh can now climb on the kitchen chairs .... stand on teh kitchen table and then he tries to get down - without checking to see if theres anything there to support him!!! Terrible - hes gonna give me a heartattack!
Nice to see the August clubs still going.... even if we are toddler moms now.

Hi UncleBen - welcome back to the August moms club! Congrats on your pregnancy! You're heading into a nice time of pregnancy now - the 2nd trrimester - hope you're feeling good in yourself! I'm all broody again -still havent got AF back after Kristi - did a test yesterday just incase and it was negative - I was actually really disappointed - whats wrong with me at all girls - wouldnt you think the 2 I have would be enough for me?! I really want my 3 babies and I have no patience! Still its better to give myself til next year at leazst before going again.
KAtie - cant wait to see you - Leo has a little pressie for Sarah! :)
Cloc - you're a great woman for the lists! Thanks for always including Kristina I really appreciate it!
Tulip - enjoy your magic mum meet up!
Fairy - I remember the stress of having more children and not enough staff back in my creche days - I had the wobblers! You have the toddlers I think havent you? I loved it tho - pity it didnt work out for me there I'd love to go back.
Leo was up last night crying and clinging onto me so I had to get into the spare bed in his room with him. He'd lie down and cuddle for a minute and if he thought I was going asleep he'd sit up and poke me! I couldnt be mad tho he's too cute! I eventually got back to my own bed and left him shouting his head off this morning for about 45 mins before getting him up - I was all cosy in bed giving Kristina her bootle so we only got down stairs about 15mins ago! Ok gonna dry my hair and have some grub and wait for Katie!

Hello all, Can't believe we've moved. C is my last baby so I'm clinging on to her babyhood.
Had a deadline of today for a job, just finished 30 seconds ago, am so happy. Been so stressed sitting all week in my badly-needs-to-be-cleaned house not able to do anything about it, now I can sort it all out. Shouldn't be grumbling about having work I know, I know.
At tree planting ceremony this morning in my niece's school, it was so lovely, very moving.
Can't wait till 5, am going to pour myself a dirty big glass of wine! DS has a friend over and the stairs has just been painted, gonna be fun keeping the two of them away from it. No wonder I have stress induced dermititis/psoraisis or whatever the heck it is!!!!!
Later ladies!

Enjoy the vino Pmac - hopefully now that you have your job done you can sort out the house and your stress levels should go down a bit!
Katie - hows Hannah doing? I hope she doesnt have the bug - you are under so much pressure - let me know if theres anything I can do - you can always pick up the phone for a chat some evening and we'll hqave a glass of vino while we're at it! I'm delighted with all the stuff you gave me - I was actually planning on going into mothercare this weekend for grobags so you've saved me a fortune - thanks again - I really appreciate the help. XXX Leo was crying after you when you left today - I couldnt believe he put his arms up to you, to sit on your knee cos he makes strange with people he sees everyday lately! You have the touch hon! My mobile appears to be broken! Well it is about 8 yrs old - its the one me and DH use when our other phones are broken or stolen! I will have to get one over xmas - so if you're texting me and I dont answer you'll know why! :)

Uncleben welcome back! hope to see more of you and congrats on your pregnancy hope all is going smoothly, best wishes for the rest of it.
GLAD it was great to see you for those 5 minutes today. Girls our meetup got blown out of the water as when i was about 10 minutes from GLAD's house the phone rang and it was the school, DD1 was sick. I motored on and dropped in a bag of clothes and Leo gave Sarah and I a lovely present each, GLAD thanks soo much it made my day. haven't touched the choccie though, hiding that for my christmas day feasting!!! My whoel house is sick, except for me. DD1+2 and DH have stomach bugs, though I suspect DD2 is faking it for some reason. DH is panned out on the couch since 6pm, apparently I must order a coffin LOL!! and poor Sarah has a chesty cough, runny nose etc and is sooooo clingy. She had a sleep from 3.30 til 5pm and spent 5-6pm screaming the house down...ears maybe??? anyway she crashed again at 7pm. ANd she slept in the car this morning for over an hour....must be flu.

pmac that is a lovely idea to plant a tree for your neice. Very emotional for you. I grew up in a small town but there were 2 schools. A little girl from the other school had a freak accident from a horse and didn't survive, the 14 children in her class planted a red rose bush each in front of the school, that was over 30 years ago and they are still going strong and are fabulous when blooming, such a beautiful reminder for her friends and family.
pmac glad you are getting some work, what kind of work do you do? enjoy your wine...x

Its mad to see all the familiar names! Thanks for the congrats! God I must say its alot different being pregnant the 2nd time round and having a small man to look after - I kindof forget I am actually pregnant half the time! Although am fast growing and the bump won't let me forget for much longer!!
So how are all your Toddlers ladies? Anyone experiencing tantrums at all? My man has mental moments - seems to happen when he comes in from the creche in the evenings. He loves the creche, so its not that!! So I am thinking the terrible 2's could be coming early! They hardly sense that theres another babs on teh way???? Anyone else have this?
Katie - am so glad not to be in your house. Whats the betting everyone will be sick and you will be fine and get to mind them all! The joys of being a mammy eh!

Girls what are the chances of dh getting swine flu even though he had jab 5 weeks ago. He asked me for a lemsip a while ago and said he felt like he was getting the flu i laughed as he also had seasonal flu jab a while back. Anyway he has a bit of a temp and has suddenly got a cough and a bit of a headache. I don't know if i am just been a drama queen or if i should be worried. I wouldn't worry only for he is hig risk.

UncleBen I think a few of ours have been having tantrums alright. I think it's the terrible twos!! I suupose they are easily frustrated and because their communication skills are so limited they have to have an outburst to get thier frustration across IYKWIM.
My DD1 was 18months old when DD2 arrived and I don't think she had a notion there was a baby coming and when DD2 arrived she wasn't really put out at all, she was still the boss and DD2 just had to survive! They are 8 and 7 now and it's a great age gap, the early years are hard work but great now as they play together and entertain each other....and gang up on poor me.

Well my mini hospital is busy here! DD1 is coming good and din;t vomit or get diarrhoea so that's great, DD2 is perfect and has gone carol singing then to a friend's house, DD3 is also coming good, less clingy but still no appetite. As for DH he really has a rotten bug, he was up all night and I think has lost about a stone (sorry TMI!!!!). I stripped the bed even the electric blanket and washignt hem all in case bugs are hanging aorund.
Ok back to the hosuework...like a bomb here evn though spent all day yesterday cleaning.
