Good luck with your appointment murph - the heat is a killer alright- - but definately harder for you that you are still working.
I am down to my last pair of flip flops - nothing else will fit anymore and dont want to buy any more shoes.

hey girls how is everyone today congrats to all our new mammies im still the same im not coming around at all i feel like some one has forgotten to change my batteries im completely drained and i cant seem to pick myself back up at all himself came home from work last night and found me hystercial i would say he was sorry he came home i hate feeling like this

ok girls, i hope this is not a bad sign, but had to bring my car into town today, forgot to change the disk, just went out and my bloody car is clamped, feckin 80euro to get in removed, want to have a good cry but might scare off the customers. I wouldn't mind but if i had gone out 10 mins earlier i would have been fine, baby brian big time.

I told her you were being sectioned tomorrow lini and she sent back
"ooo so excited for lini,send her on my goodluck wishes!!I will be on to you lot as soon as I have wind of my induction!"

Hi all,
Went to app pains had eased a bit Dr did internal and said it could start things off but i wasn't in labour . Came home and went straight to bed and am up about an hour now,pains are coming and going.

Murph i would have just cried if my car had been clamped.A few weeks ago i got back to my car and the clamping man was over in his van getting clamp out after putting the big sticker on my car(i was only 6 mins late).I jumped in and drove off so quick but i gave your man 2 fingers as i drove past him ,very unladylike i know but very satisfiying.
Poor alluremum she must be cracking up as well as feeling so sick.

Lol at all the bouncing on the ball and on dp comments haha!! Think a bath and an early night might suit me better lol...was just thinking today that i should be enjoying these nights instead of willing baby to come out...gonna be a lot harder with 3 kiddies instead of 2...god help me lol!!

had app with gp today, thank god all well with urine bp etc. she told me to lie up to check babys heartbeat and have a feel to make sure it hadnt turned breecha again. thankfully it still head down. but twice she said to me "oh its definately a well grown baby" and still 2 weeks to go!!! My eyes were watering at the thought!!

wow we might have 2 more babies before the weekend.
AioCon, thats soooo funny, had a good laugh just thinking of it.
anyway went for my scan, good news placenta has moved and baby is head down, so all ready for the big push.
Wuzzielou and AoiCon glad apps went went.
Back is very sore so am off to have a bath and relax after my eventful day, oh ya and had a whole poster designed for a customer and my bloody computer crashed, hasn't been my week, glad tomorrrow is Friday.

Aoicon - labour dust to you - heres hoping those pains get more regular for you. Its kind of funny to be getting excited for people who are in pain or wishing more pain on people as it were a good thing - I guess thats labour for ya - - So pain wishes all round !!! God I hope this baby come soonLOL
I am laughing at DS - He has taken to sitting on his footballs lately while he is playing - guess he is taking after me on the birthing ball !! He is just doing it now - very funny. Unfortrunately he is full of beans so I reckon bed time is atleast another half and hour away. aarrhhh

oh sandy - i just saw the pics of Finns room  i love it - it is so cute. I cant wait to see a baby in there now!!!
We have stuck with white all over and I cant wait to add pink/blue details. And to put babys name on the wall!!!
Lini - Im sitting here thinking that this is your last night before being a mammy!!!! its like the best Christmas Eve ever!!!!!
Murph - hope your bath sorts you out, mentally and physically. You have had a tough couple of days.
Was out with DH all day doing the garden - all the neighbours commenting on my eagerness to help babs on its way!  no sign of anything budging but the garden looks great! Here's hoping the weather stays nice enough to enjoy it.
wuzzielou - glad to hear bubs is a good size but ikwym about thinking about it getting too big... I keep imagining a ten pounder so if its smaller then that I will be blissfully happy!!!
Denni - Im defo making the most of my last few nights and I only have DH and the puppy to contend with so I would defo put your feet up! although im sure your other 2 will be a great help when babs arrives! a real life doll for them!
Off for a cuppa and more chocolate and a nightly dose of BB!!!

Bath was lovely - back still very sore, its like i got very big over the weekend, before everyone wsa saying how neat i was and they couldn't beleive i was due so soon now its like your after getting very big - so i have to tell people ya well i only have another four weeks to go.
New Bee thats so funny about your ds, hope he goes to bed for you soon, am hoping my dd sleeps all night.

hi all
i am still here and the 48 hours are up
i am going to try and remain positive even though so many people
are ringing and asking me how long more any movement
my husbands neighbour asked me today what did i have
so hopefully not long more i have been booked in to cumh on wednesday at 7am so
hopefully i wil go before then
the thing is that i have never felt better and i do not have a pain or an ache the past few
days

Sorry I didnt get to update ya earlier. Its been a mad busy day!! lol (i'll never learn!!!) 
Check up at hospital went grand - unfortunately my attempts to use my PMA to not leave were in vain and they told me just to come back next Thursday and see what happens then - if I havent gone before.
Got a text from LMK and she thinks Sweetpea's car has been outside H olles S t all day and was still there a little while ago when she left...so maybe there is another new arrival..... She said that she sent a text to Sweetpea but no reply as yet! Fingers crossed, eh?!
Sorry for the lack of personals, but hope your all well (or surviving anyhow!!!) and Lini - GOOD LUCK!!! xxx

My husbands nephew's wife (if ya get that!!) had a baby boy yest eve 6 days early and all I could think was "ah crap!!" and then,of course "ah delighted for them!!" would love to go early at this stage!!

Morning ladies. Sorry I havent been on in ages, the trips to the hospital twice a day and the expressing had me kept busy but i have my little doll home now and nearly getting things sorted. We had a rough first night. The poor babs didnt know where she was in her new surroundings. But yesterday she was a little angel. She has her Daddy kept welll busy and he is doing loads. For the first timers like me, you partners will realy surprise you.
Anita OMG, i soooooo feel your pain not been able to sleep bad news is, it doesnt stand to you for the night feeds. Im still SHATTERED LOL.
Any new on Sweetpea??????

Just got word back from LMK, Sweetpea text her back late yesterday nite and said it wasn't her at H olles S T. 
Couldnt sleep in bed passed 4am so came down, put Pretty Women on the DVD player and then fell asleep after half hour on the couch!

Been awake listening to rain for ages and so sick of dp snoring, tried poking him a few times but was getting nowhere. He's on a weeks hols from work so can't wait.

Baby Pickle can't wait to shop for myself either, some of my maternity t shirts don't fit any more. had few nosebleeds lately very annoying but now i'm back to bein itchy again which is even more annoying.
Anita Maria - So delighted with nursery, dp keeps saying he's just going for another look at it, so cute i found himsitting in the nursing chair rocking with his eyes closed.
Ash my back isn't the best and its really comfy...was in 2 minds whether to get one but once you sit in it you change your mind! Wait until you're off all you do is spend or at least want to spend. Mam and dad have spoilt me all week, they're goin back to kildare today so next time they see me i'll be a mummy!!!

40 weeks today, whoohoo!! Cant believe im due today, crazy crazy!! Ive a scan on Wednesday and theyll give me a date then if i dont go myself, its usually around day 10 when they induce you up here.

Took me ages to get to sleep last night, just couldnt nod off! Gonna have a relaxing day today hopefully and a big long soak later...cant wait!!

Had a GP visit yesterday there is blood and and a little protein in my urine again so I have to drop another sample today. It seems to be every 2nd visit there is a problem with my urine, oh well hopefully it will be ok today.
I have a question, sorry TMI on the way, I was in Liffey Valley yesterday and when I came home I had a very heavy gloopy discharge which went through my underwear and trousers. Could this be the mucous plug?

Morning girls - another dull/rainy day! I think I was over optimistic about my sunny days spent out the back on my maternity leave! Really hope it picks up when babs arrives. Would love to be able to be out walking about.
Hope everyone got a (good) nights sleep. I have slept more in the last 2 nights then I have in the last 2 weeks. Not sure why - and I'm certainly not complaining.

Great to hear from you Piper. I can only imagine how disoriented babs was when you brought her home - only the other day I was talking to friends about how really scary it must be for babies - everything is just so big and new, the poor little mites!

Have serious pressure down below this morning and finding it tough to stand, I was going to make an appointment to get my hair done but I think i will leave it a little while and see how I feel - I just want a few packs thrown in at the front so my roots wont be horrendous.

Hey ladies,
I have no brian at the moment, so cant remember any personals...
Have a question for ye. I am 36+1 today. Got an awful pain in my nether region getting out of the car yesterday evening, had to go and lie down. Didnt sleep well. Got up and had a shower and came into work. I have the most horrible very lower back pain and very bad period cramps fulltime for about the last 4 hours. The head is engaged about 3 weeks, so im presuming this is just the pressure down there. Firs time mother so havnt a clue!
Any advise?
