Hi girls, thought id set up the first Aug 2010 thread. Got my BFP at the weekend, did a Clear Blue digital test this morning and it said pregnant 1-2 weeks so i suppose i just have to go to the doc now to confirm and then its all systems go!! Anyone else with me.. Im so nervous, excited, afraid,,the emotions are just crazy!! :)

Hey poodle, huge congrats...I was just thinking someone might be setting up soon as was 22/10 when I got my bfp....
Fantastic news, have a H&H 9 mths...this will fill up so quick!!

Hi girls, am due in August too, so delighted and excited! Congrats poodle and markyboy. Deelle I got faint lines for a couple of days before a stronger one this morning, so congrats as well! Sandy h hope we see you back here at the end of the month. Looking forward to chats over the next 8 months!

Deelle, i had the faintest of lines on the first 2 tests, the next day it was stronger and then a couple of days later i did the digital one. Dont lose hope im sure its going to be positive!!!!
Baboig2, congrats to you, its so exciting. I was at the docs today who confirmed everything for me. Have my letter for the hospital aswell, its just so surreal!!

Just did a pregancy test and it was positive I think I'm due Aug 3 but I need to go to the Dr. I haven't told anyone but DH. It'll be number 2. I really want to tell families - do you think it's too soon? I feel wierd about it - I wanted to be pregnant but I'm not really that excited now. Maybe it's just the memory of all those sleepless nights (1 year of little sleep last time).

Welcome and Congrats birdsong, it's no 2 for me as well, I think it takes a little while to settle in so you'll probably be all excited in a day or two! DD is only 10 months so we're still at the sleepless night stage but she should be well settled before the new baby arrives (hopefully!!).
Deelle once your af stays away there's still a good chance, fingers crossed for you.
Poodle, having the dr appt makes it all very real doesn't it, plan on going next week myself.
On the telling people front we're hoping to wait til 3 months again, just haven't figured out how we're going to get over christmas without people finding out!!

Yeah its hard not telling people.I told my mam straight away, i just had to and i think we'll tell his mam aswell it will give her such a lift as shes had a bad year!! Im so paranoid about telling people in case something happens, pg it wont.
Im going out tomorrow night and i have to tell people im on antibiotics, this will only be the start of it coming up to Christmas.
Birdsong, congrats on your BFP. All the memories of sleepless nights are probably coming back to you but that will go once the reality sets in x

So I couldn't help myself - I've told my whole family and a few friends! We'll wait a few more weeks before telling the in-laws. I suppose people don't tell because the risk of miscarriage is still quite high but in my case I'd want those close to me to know when that happens too. Im going to the Doctor on Thursday so that'll make things more official.
Does anyone actually have any pregnancy symptoms - I know it's early days but I don't feel anything - not even very tired which was really my only symptom last time. I hope everyone is feeling ok so far too.

Due Aug 5th. So happpy as had an appointment to meet fertility consultant in January. Only found out yesterday.So glad I dont have to go through that

Welcome Denni, congrats!! Well i just made my hospital appointment this morning, its not until the 16th March, ill be around the 20 week mark then. I thought id have to go in and see them sooner than that to get blood tests done and that, maybe they do it that day???? Anyone know??

hey girls, popping over from july 2010, congrats to everyone and just looking at sweetpea last post, im sure she'll be signing up later. congrats again hun. poodle they will do them on the first appointment, my gp did half my bloods when i seen him 2 weeks ago, only did half them coz i have very bad veins and they collapse to easy so he said hospital will do other half at first appointment. cant believe you have a date, im still waiting on mine. i asked at outpatients today as dh was in hospital getting check up on the broken elbow and im not even on the system yet and letter sent 3 weeks ago!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all, i just got a positive result yesterday, its my 1st pregnancy and i could just tell i was Preg, its unreal how diff i felt, i did 3 previous early preg tests ( far too early, as i got a negitive result ) but i was just mad to know if i was, anyway im due the 9th of Aug 2010 and im new to EU-mom so hi to everyone and best of luck 2 you all.xx
