I'm feeling grand, went out for dinner tonite and felt a bit queasy half way through..... and got a bit car-sick en-route, but other than that no other symptoms....yet!! Did you get 'morning' sickness on your other children? I was sick enuf for the first 8 weeks on dd, but thankfully it went then. How are you feeling?

I'm not feeling many symptoms at all really compared to what I was like from the start on my 2ds My breasts are a bit tender but I don't know if that is because I keep feeling them to see if they are sore :) I am nervous as I have had 2 m/c's and I didn't get much symptoms at the beginning on them so my head is wrecked. Went to GP and he booked me in for an early scan but was kinda of like 'what are you doing here so early attitude' so I was like cause I want to kill you attitude :) only joking.
Anyway got that new clearblue test with conception indicator and the conception reading read 2-3 weeks which is about right so I will try out the other one next week and hopefully if that reads 3+ I'll know my levels of HCG are increasing. I sound like a woman obsessed!

Green Eyes, i'm sorry to hear about your m/c s, hopefully we will both have healthy pregnancies. My breasts aren't a bit sore atal, no matter how I feel them, so its probably a good sign that yours are. Aswell, maybe its a girl this time, I have friends that were as sick as a dog on one sex and not atal on the other. I'm going to doctor tomorrow, very impatient altogether[:p]....how impatient will I be after another 36 weeks (hopefully)!!!!!

Yeah I know all the waiting is awful. I'd love to fast forward to 12 weeks. How did you get on at the doctor skippie? I am very hormonal today. I had an awful fright today. Was at st. annes park. Parked at the end of the avenue on the road so my 4 year old could cycle all the way. When I was putting the baby in the car my 4 year old walked round to his door to get in thinking nothing of it as he does it in the garden. I nearly died with the fright. He said Mammy I was careful. I dunno maybe he did know what he was doing and wasnt being stupid about it and I'm just not with the program!.
Thats all I bloody need is a terrible fright though. I was in bits crying after. Now I'm watching Agnes Browne and I'm bawling again! Defo very hormonal cause I wouldn't really be a cryer

That was a terrible fright to get, you'd need to have eyes on the back of your head. Thank God nothing happened and hopefully he wont ever do it again (til he's older!!!!), so maybe it was a good lesson for him.
What age is your baby? I got on grand at the doctors, she did a test and the line was very faint, I suppose it is because I'm so early, but I cant help worrying a bit. Will get another preg test later, I should be 2-3 weeks now, if I was 1-2 weeks last Sunday. Feeling queasy on and off.....is it too early for ms? Is my imagination running riot?[?]

Its like listening to me skippie. I went to the doctors also and also got a very faint line. I really really don't like GP's I would nearly go as far as saying that I have a bit of a phobia when it comes to them, can't stand them! So for me to go to the doctor was mad. I just didn't want to worry and cause myself stress but sure wouldn't you know the GP stressed me out even more! Do you know what he said when he looked over my history. 'Well looking at your history the law of averages are with you because you had a baby then you had a m/c then you had a baby then you had a m/c so looking at this pattern you are due a baby and not a m/c. Now seriously what kind of crap was that? I'm not playing russian roulette. I doubt it works that way at all.
Skippie. When did you do the clearblue with conception indicator? I'm due the same day as you but I know for a fact that I ovulate earlier than most around day 6 so that is probably why mine read 2-3 so don't worry. I'd say the hospitals hate these bloody conception indicator things because I'd say they have lots of women in worried that their readings are wrong.

Welcome mrsmar!
Green Eyes, I did the digital test last Sunday and it said 1-2 weeks which would be right. Will check with another one over the next few days to see if it has gone to 2-3 weeks. I agree, your doctor does seem like a bit of a wally....he wouldnt exactly inspire confidence would he...
Back to the list...its beginning to grow!!

Cant believe it, had a big long post written and my Internet connection got dropped. Typical [}:)][}:)]
Can I join you ladies? I got my BFP this morning - whoohoo
Another one from the Ovulation Thread [:D] MrsMar it looks as though we have the same dates!
Im feeling really queasy already, for the past 3 days.[xx(][xx(] Dont remember being queasy this early on DD but here goes....
My AF was due yesterday morning, I can almost set a clock to it. When it didn't come I kind of knew. Then last night I got a bleed, I though 'Oh No, not AF' but thankfully not. Did the digital test this morning and Positive - woohoo The digital test stated 1-2 weeks and the bleed I am assuming its the implantation bleed. I would have expected by waiting later to test that I would be at least 2-3 weeks on the digital indicator. Does all this suggest that I ovulated late?????? I didn't think I ovulated at all as I was testing and never throughout the cycle did I detect a positive surge(ovulation)!!
On the doctors front. Im eager to go as Im dying to get the 1st scan done ( there is a strong history of twins in our family). It seems the earlier you get to the doctor the earlier you get called for the scan. I know when I went into him when pregnant with DD I was over a week late and tested positive at home. When he tested the 1st test was negative and the 2nd test he did had a very very faint line. He was looking at me as though I was mad for going to him so early - lol Not sure what best now, will see!!!
Congrats to us all and wishing everyone a healthy and happy 9 months [:D]

Congrats and welcome craic01! Our little group is expanding!Yeah! oooh, imagine twins, that'd be fantastic.....and ALOT of work[:D].
Mrsmar, I'm heading to Portiuncula. I had an emergency cs on my dd, 22 months ago, failure to progress was the reason. Do you mind me asking why you needed the emergency cs? I'm afraid I wont progress again and end up witha a section...I'd much prefer to have it planned. I wonder if you fail to progress once are you likely to do the same the second time.... maybe I'm anatomically lazy??!![:D]. Methinks time to update the list...[:D]

Hiya girls. Fair play to you chatting 6! WOWser. My mam had 8 and her mam had 8 none of my 4 brothers and 3 sisters are even half way there yet except for 1 bro who has 4.
Chatting I know what you are saying about the GP but I have changed about 5 times already! I reckon I'll feel the same way about all of them. I did find an alright one at one stage but alot of other people must feel like I do about them because she was constantly booked out or on holidays so what is the point having a GP you can't get when you need them.
Good luck Denise on Saturday :)

hi ladies, popping in here again to say hi! Am in an out of Feb & March, my EDD is Feb 26th but I ovulated 4/5 days late so reckon that will take me into march - roll on the scan to tell me eitherway! Mrsmar, am with you on limbo land, this is my 1st and am dying to tell people but so scared to as well! Everything seems to be going fine but doc told me not to tell anyone until wk 14 as I was taking epilepsy tabs unitl about 1.5 yrs ago! Honestly, I'll never last that long. Am hoping to tell our parents & sis at 9 weeks, and then everyone else at 14 - if I can hold it that long!

oh, forgot to say on the sickness front, I have been quesy on & off for about week now - nearly since before I found out, and my nipples (sorry!) have started been sore since yesterday. Have also been like a demon these last few days!!!Has anyone read Mylene Klass book? I got it last week and am addicted to it, it's very well written, and grt for first timers I think - though I am balancing it with "what to expect when you're expecting!" [:)]
