Your Body And Childbirth

During pregnancy and labour, your body undergoes enormous changes. Don't worry, you will be able to cope and very soon, you'll return to your normal physical state where each of these changes will merely be a distant memory.
After giving birth, your body will experience several more physical changes. This section outlines what changes to expect and how to cope with them, such as: bleeding, your breasts, fatigue, constipation, soreness, incontinence, and others.
After the birth, you may also go through a number of emotional changes such as excitement, overwhelming love, baby blues, and perhaps exhaustion. As you will see in our forums, this is normal and the vast majority of women experience these feelings.
However, should you feel unable to cope at any stage, be sure to talk to your GP or a healthcare professinal, it will put your mind at ease and help you to get on with enjoying life with your new baby.
